I am in a market for injectors. Looking of pinks primarily if not maybe 06-07 wrx injectors.

Let me know what you got.

I have a set of 02 stockers that I am waiting on shineynitelite to buy. If you want them, I will see if he wants to pass on them right now. Then, $100 and they're yours.

thats where the problem comes. if i get modded injectors it will be hard to get of the shelf map right away to safely drive the car until i get a good tune. I really dont feel like being without a car even for a day if i can. And i dont want to tow it to a tuner as well.

I would do it, but it will be harder to get the car tuned dont you think. With pinks i can just get an xpt map for 60 bucks and get the car tuned to best abilities when i have time and money for it.

Buy yourself a wideband, read a few books, and tune it yourself. Its not rocket science. Honestly, anyone with a modified turbo car should have a wideband. They're not that expensive.

very true might have to get that on the list of parts. I would love to learn how to do it, but i just dont have time 4 classes and 15+ hours of work everyday and a crazy load of homework just does not help.

I live by the book and as of yesterday, run 28psi tuned by myself (Derek was there too). Granted, there are mechanical limitations to what you can do, but I hope you get the idea.

Why not wait and just do it right the first time. I paid db 350 to tune my turd from scratch. I have had zero problems since then. I used modded injectors with my vf39.

    THIS!

I keep seeing people who want to skimp on one or two parts that aren't required when putting on a non-stock turbo. Honestly Taras, if you're going to fork out the cash to swap turbo's, you need to do it right.

Even with your current car/tune, it's a bad idea to think that you can just slap parts on your car and expect it to run perfectly. Come on, you should know this by now!

In addition, even pinks or stock 06-07 injectors all flow a little differently. A base-map might work, but if you're running it for any length of time, you'll need the map tuned specifically for your car and your injectors.

The thing about "Pinks" is that they are built to do 565cc and not saying the modded ones are no good, the stockers were just intended to use the flow rate that they were built for.

Pinks are way easier to tune. Read: cheaper due to less time per-hour tuners spend messing with fuel.
