as far as i know all turbo legacys in this 90-94 model had IHI vf11 (rhb5) turbos, if i get a chance ill take a picture of my model tag on it. im prolly gonna go with the td04 if i can find a cheap one thus this WTB provided i can figure out the coolant line routing and intake piping

check out ebay, they are a dime a dozen on there...the only problem will be where the inlet tube is gonna go, on our turbo its a 90* bend, on a tdo4 it goes under the intake manifold :? so you'll probably need a wrx inlet tube, have you looked into intercoolers yet? im gonna be using a forester XT to save room, wrx ones can fit too...but with LOTS of trimming, banging, cutting, cursing :D

yeah ive got my eye on a cheap saab side mount that many people have moded quite easily to fit up top as i dont really want to be cutting my throttle body or breaking igniter mounts to make it fit. if anything who would you guys suggest i talk to in the cities about rebuilding this thing for cheap if i get a kit?

you should be able to find a 90 degree tdo4, i had but just sold it a couple months ago, should be able to get one for around 100- 150 dollars.
these are off of early jdm wrx's and liberty's

I have a 90 degree inlet TD05 16G I might be getting rid of in a couple of months. I'm either getting it rebuilt or getting a deadbolt 05 16G so if you'll pay more for it than the core charge is you can have it.
