Wrx1 had/has a ej257 block for sale, at least a couple weeks ago he did. It wasn't a complete shortblock yet though, but a good price.

go to u pull and get a 2.2E slap your heads on it, you know they can handle power, look @ mine and my brothers. This will be the easiest and cheapest way to go.

Been thinking about it as a temporary set up, just to get my car rolling in a day. It would be fun to blow up a 2.2e :) Once i get my built block put together, ofcourse .

How strong are the internals in them 2.2Es?

Alright, a shower i've decided to temporarily slap a 2.2e in. I had a moment of clarity ;) That will atleast get my car up and running for the next upcomming months and give me time to build this craaaaazy block :) I still need pm's people!

    No 2.0's
    Only ej257 or ej22t
It would be nice to get a price quote on an ej22t.

good choice my friend, you have heared my engine! u-pull fresh and runs like butter, and dosnt make a sound!

another reason I thaught the 22e is a good idea is since you are getting a hydra now, it would be a good idea to learn how to tune with something you only payed 200 for, not 2000

I dont think I could blow up my car anymore, that engine is just too good, and who knows, maybe ill need her again! :eek3::ugh::(:emo::biggrin:

lemme know when you want to go to ye ole upull!
