What's the reason for wanting one? It's not that much different, and you really wont get a gain from it...except for the different style tip.

for max rumble you might wanna check out Cobb. theirs is fairly quite, stock looking and has nice sound.

i was thinking about going that route..but $$ kind of hinders me from making that leap right now...i figured this would be a good way to get what i'm looking for..right now..and upgrade to Cobb when i can! Thanks for the info!!

Just for some info, i've personally heard STi mufflers on wrx's and they don't sound much different. You would need the whole system becuase it's a tad bigger and -1 cat. PM for a deal...

Yeah, we're going to build a system for her as time goes by, but the muffler will be a great start. STi muffler and catless up/down pipes sounds great without being too loud and still looks respectable (somewhat stock)

I was going to recommend that she comes in and checkes out the SPT system. It looks stock, doesn't sound stock though! Not to terribbly loud, but definite power gain!

    or build a custom 3in with Magnaflow muffler etc.. $300 - 350........

mine is almost as quiet as a stock one on the highway.. but has some growl when on the gas....

might not be as pretty and shiny as the $500 but it definitely sounds nice, looks reasonable and the horspower was the same for what cobb says it should be with their stage 2 setups... M2CW

small link to a video on the dyno..... http://media.putfile.com/WRX-STage-2
