I'm looking for someone who want's to unload their old stock struts. I'd like to use them for koni inserts on my 04 wagon, so that when I get around to doing my suspension I can just swap out the entire assembly and throw in an upgraded one (with shocks/springs/tops/etc). I'd like to get them for under $100 (free would be better ), but I know that may not be realistic. So if you have a set and you think they're a pretty good price, definately let me know. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do (and need to do that). So I might need tops too. I'll definately need to do more research on that since I have a wagon and depending on whether I want to go all out with noltec/rce/all that jazz. I'm pretty sure I could use most (any?) model year strut housing. Let me know if that's not the case and I need either 04+ specific or wagon specific struts. I'm probably not going to moving very fast on this until at least the weather warms up. But I figured I'd a get a local feeler out there just in case someone had a set laying around their garage or something.
I have a passenger-side front AGX strut housing that's already been cut open on the top. It's for 93-01 impreza. I'm not sure if it'd work for you, but you can have it for free.
Damn...I got a whole suspension from an 03 wrx SEDAN, not wagon. I dunno if it would work but if it does shoot me an offer
I just swapped the suspension on my 98 Outback Sport. If you can use the old springs/struts, they're yours.
Mnautomatic has the only one that will work for you for the koni swaps. all year GD wagon suspensions are the same. The sedan struts have the strut bolts/control arm area pushed out slightly further than the wagon ones.
What's the top hat situation then? Would I want to get noltec hats or something similar? MNautomatic: How fast do you want those things to move?
