Looking for a 2002-2006 subaru wrx. Id prefer world rally blue but would possibly be interested in silver for the right car. Price must be under 10000 preferably around 7000-8000 or less. Let me know what you have! If it has aftermarket parts it must be tuned for them. I will not buy a car with body damage or a check engine light on. I live an hour north of duluth mn and about 4 hours north of minneapolis/st.paul so I would like to get as much info aas possible! thanks for reading -Jeremy

sedan. stick. I dont want anything too nuts troopers round here watch me as it is lmao. It would be nice to have an exhaust and intake maybe lowered a bit with body kit just throwing different things out there but stock is fine too. It wouldnt make sense to but a wrx with an auto trans unless someone is handicapped n cant drive a stick lol

Last bump? Giving up after 2 days?

Just an fyi, i think that you're going to have to be a little less picky about what is acceptable to you. My car with 204,000 miles on it was still worth $8400 to my insurance company and that was with rust and damage from accidents. To find one that's not "beat to ****" or whatever will be like a needle in a haystack. Most of these cars are 5-10 years old that you're looking at...they're going to have blemishes and damages here and there. But Bnuts black bugeye is about as perfect as you can get for $6500!! He's even willing to get the AC working for you again.lol

Yup I meant I dont want crinkled door panels dings are understandable. I just don't want to have to put a whole new quarterpanel on etc im looking for a car in good shape doesn't have to be excellent lol I can get a few surface rust spots fixed easy. Just don't want swiss cheese lmao. And I feel for 10000 bucks I should be able to find something , nd I can understand an sti will be waaaay more like 17-18 grand

Lol, no doubt. Well just to let you know, most of the guys here that have wanted specific colors and whatnot have had to fly to Pennsylvania, Chicago, Florida, and Oregon to name a few. lol. Other than the fact that it's black and without AC (at the moment), as stated...Bnuts' car has to be the best find out there for the price and the fact that he's a body guy and already took care of all of the dings and wrinkled fenders. Other than that, most of them need motor work done to them.

Bnuts' car has no rust. He just did a full paint job on it, and it is clean as can be. I know he is putting struts in it as we speak and he has a condenser on order. The more work he does to it, the more the price will go up. But even after he has it all in, it will be worth whatever he is asking. Its a nice car.

The only downfall to black for me is im a miner and the parking lot gets alooot of dust so id have to wash it daily that's why id rather blue or silver....I like black but it takes alot to keep it looking nice no doubt that his car is an amazing deal just would like to see what's around

For the money it is going to be hard to beat. That being said with having to wash it everyday, using a good wax every once in a while all you need to do is spray it off. Also, good way to prevent any rust from ever starting...

Blue definitely doesn't hide a fine/fresh layer of dust. Parked outside my office my WRB WRX got covered daily, and it was definitely noticeable if it was previously washed.

Best thing to do is buy the car and just wash it often and know that you got a great deal!

all colors are going to show the dust, it seems like a pretty dull point to be so hung up on.

if someone is looking to sell it, or are on here enough to go into the wtb's to sell something, they're going to see it anyway. I was stating my personal opinion when I said it was a dumb point to make if you're deciding on a car solely on dust.

I'm not trying to help him sell his car, it's just absolutely the best deal on here right now considering all of the body work and time that he just dumped into it!;) Also, have you been checking Craigslist? And just an fyi...i'm still loling at the fact that you don't want attention from the troopers up there, but a "exhaust and a bodykit" will get you waaaaaay more attention from the fuzz if you're looking all fast and furious! I was driving 70 in a 60 one day with about 20 other cars(going with the flow of traffic)...and a trooper weaved through the 20 cars to specifically pull me over...i was in a stock WRB(gets more attention than ANY other color) bugeye that was bone stock with no spoiler. Just sayin...if they want to get ya, doesn't matter, they'll get ya. The funny thing is, since i completely covered my car in company vinyls from my sponsors(GrimmSpeed, RS Motors, Tires4Less, and NOS Energy Drink), i've been pulled over less than i had with a stock WRX. lullz

Where you located, Virginia area? Or straight north of Duluth?

If it comes down to preference, then more power to ya!

But if you think a silver or blue (especially wrb which is a relatively dark metallic color) car is going to be less maintenance than black (obp, jbp, mbp) then let me warn you now and say that they all show contaminants differently.

I'm no pro but I've detailed a few cars in my day. Light color cars show rail dust and other metals and contaminants differently than black cars. Sometimes in a bad way:

Detailing: Interior and Exterior (post 101)

The upside of a darker color like wrb or any metallic black is you don't notice these same surface contaminants as easily against the dark background. Instead you see the light reflect off of inconsistencies in the clear coat in the form of "swirls." Dust on a darker car typically just dulls the gloss. Dust on a lighter car usually just comes off as looking "dirty."

^ Completely agree and well worded. As previously stated all colors will show dust. Wash your car once a week or every 2 weeks. Use a quality wax or sealant, or both. Wax is kind of a double edged sword when it comes to dust because a lot of waxes "attract" dust but protects the paint.
