 Well, my mothers KIA is about to die and she is interested in taking my vehicle, so that means it time to shop! Looking for: 02-05 impreza wagon or sedan (maybe the 2.5 but preferably a wrx) Less than 100k Auto or manual (doesnt matter too much, I just have less than 5 hours behind a m/t so I am not too experienced) Color doesnt matter too much either Like it to be somewhat stock (I trust members on the board with mods, but if you find a mod'd car from outside the site I may be weary) Dreams would be that it has the limited package (sunroof and heated seats) But its limited for a reason lol Also could be interested in a nice 2.5rs 4door. With my job and needs, I cant do a coupe. I guess just let me know what you have or can find. I look on NASIOC every other day or so and havent found anything too amazing. Location: No more than 1500 miles away from the cities/duluth Price: Looking to spend no more than 12k and that is if it is exactly what I want. So,we could start at 10k As always, cheaper is better ; ) Thanks fellow enthusiasts, looking forward to what you may have or know of for sale.
Not true, I am just getting options since you said you have people comming to look at yours this weekend. Yours is still top of my list :yumyum:
Yep, you are new here. See the way things work around here is you tell someone you are going to buy their stuff and back out/ The the seller has this happen to his 5-6-7 times before it actually get sold. I am supposed to have people look at my car, which in MNSubaru speak meand "I just want to joy ride your car and then tell you I can't (insert excuse here)". It is the way this place works. Russ
No, that's the way the internet works. MNSubaru/Carsoup/vehix everything. I've had a few people call me and ask for a joyride, then say they still need to see if they can even get financed! Isn't that the FIRST thing to do when buying something?!?!
that's the way selling anything that costs more than $4 works. It is especially the way selling modified cars works. btw, i recommend scuba_steve's car
yes this. Mine drive mucho better than many with way less than 100K. It's all in how you take care of it and mine gets an oil change every 2.5-3k, transmission fuild dump every 15k, etc etc....and I know how to work on cars so mine is always running top notch!
Ugh, Nathan....:ugh: nevermind I have a great example. My finances car is also a 2004 wrx, completely stock...always has, always will be. She babies that car, doesn't drive hard or even close to it. I always keep the oil fresh and full. However, her motor sounds like complete crap. Piston slap, Piston slap, piston slap. Her car only has 80K on it
does she talk on her cell phone while driving? Alot of people that do tend to over rev alot and stay in one gear for too long..... Just a thought, ohh... and smokers have a tendency to do the same thing!
Not that interested money vs the miles... My gfs dad is spending some time in Texas and I am looking there fingers crossed... If your price starts moving I'll see what's up
