Well my camry is dieing fast. I'm in the market for a 91-93 t-leg. I'm having trouble finding any. Anyone know where I should look?
hehe, you don't look for them, you stumble apon them and buy them because you have the chance.... like I did. Think the same thing happened for readymix.
Well that's really too bad then i guess, because I need a car soon, and can't really wait around...So looks like i'll be getting a newer Legacy.
there is nothing wrong with newer legacies, IMO if you are just gonna swap it i would look for a 2.2 liter, because the 2.5 unless you know when head gaskets were done will give you problems, expensive ones, they all seem to blow around 100K unless the owner that you buy it from can show some kind of documentation of h/gs being done, once they are done however rarely blow ever again
Well I'm looking at 97-98 GT 2.5's. If the head gaskets haven't been done, I can just replace them when I get it can't I. It can't be that hard.
follow the BBS or SLI. HG aren't that bad Max, you are capable enough. Its easier to pull the motor. You were there when we pulled mine
Yeah, I figure if I wanted to, i could just pop the motor out, do the head gaskets, and throw in a new timing belt/water pump while I'm there...I still have to talk to my dad to see how much $ we are both throwing into the pot to get my "new" car
