Anyone have a cheap one that they are not using? I'm trying to spend about 50 bucks or so... My HTC Dash is crapping out on me and I have 6 months left before I can get outta this contract with T-Mobile, the phone must have My Faves capabilities. Thanks!

The thing is that I don't want the T-Mobile service anymore, and if I get a brand new phone from them then I'll have to renew my contract or it'll cost an arm and a leg for even their crappiest phones. We'll see what the wife says though I may end up just paying to get outta the contract... :)

    Ex T-mobile user here.
The service was great, but at the time, selection of phones sucked.

I'm with Sprint now and I do not have a problem with it.

here may be ur best option.... it doenst hav my faves but it works... and plus my faves still works if ur phone doenst hav it u just hav to change it online instead of on the phone but u dont get docked extra minutes.... go to walmart or target or sams club if u can and buy a pay as u go phone... try to find somwhere they dont make u by minutes then just pop in ur sim card and ur done! iv done it multiple times but i bought my BB of ebay unlocked and i love it. if u dont find anythin def give this a shot ur guaranteed a working phone for under 50 and some under 30 bucks...

Good idea. I used to work for T-Mobile and this is usually what we suggested to people in a pinch like you.

Are there specifc brands/types of pay as you go phones that'd work with a SIM card or does it not matter? Thanks for the advice guys...I'll probably go that route as I'm sick of the stupidity of my current phone..

^^ as long as it says T-Mobile To-GO, or anything related to T-Mobile, you will be just fine. Ignore the SIM card that comes in the package, as it is not activated and would normally have a different number. If it is myfaves, good... if not, it will still work. T-Mobile will say they aren't compatible, but its just a way to keep it simple for them. You can still adjust faves online--last I checked.

I would actually go to target or best buy as they are cheaper there than at the actual T-Mobile stores.

Are you still looking for a phone? I have 2 Nokia 5300 music phones. One is black with a cracked screen that still works fine, the other is purple and that one has no issues. You could just switch the face plates around if you wanted black and a good screen. They do work with My Faves.

There are several nokia wall and car charges as well that I would throw in. I never unlocked them so I think they can only be used with Tmobile. I was just going to put the stuff on ebay but let me know if you're interested.
