Really don't want to spend 170 for the new 2.0.

Once I clean up my garage enough to find mine, it'll be for sale. A week maybe? Maybe longer if I'm too busy.

^ the new V2 is that much, supposedly you can log with out a laptop. But I guess that feature is still getting the kinks worked out.

Yeah, they're working on logging to an SD card.

I'd rather just use the laptop since you need that to view it anyway.

The box is nothing new. We have one at our shop. It takes snap shots of live data when setting a code. I think MAC sells them.

ECUs already do a FREEZE FRAME data. Have for years. You just need one hell of a scan tool to read them. This is taking actual logging data - a sample of all available data at regular intervals over a long period of time.

Does anyone know what pins connect on an old tactrix cable? or how they connect from obd II to usb? this looks promissing http://www.auterraweb.com/obdiicable.html only a lot cheaper. I realize it says not to connect directly to computer - but wouldn't it be "easy" to retrofit it to work with usb? I don't know, I'm an enginuity/openecu/tactrix newb.
