Looking for a set of 215/45R17s. Preferably some STi take-offs with very low miles. Summer specific. I run snows in the winter.

    Thanks.

STI take offs are 225-45-17 ... I'd just as soon look for a brand new set of something else.

Thanks for the info. Obviously I'm concerned about overall diameter change and whether they'll fit my wheels, which are 17x7.

I'm looking for something with some pretty good grip that would work well for auto-x while still being reasonable for a DD. Figured STi take-offs would fit that bill, but didn't realize they were 225s.

    I know this.

Good luck finding a set, hopefully Goalie already set you up.

Are 225s going to look weird on my 7" wide wheel? I don't want them to look too wide for the wheel. I think the STi stock wheels are 8" wide, right?

Thanks for all the help regardless. Maybe I just need to buy an 7.5"-8" wide wheel setup. :disco:

225 wide will fit fine on a 7" wheel.

    Thanks Nate.

Still lovin' the tune, by the way. Thanks again. I think I'll be doing a little exhaust work again soon. Might have to steal you for another evening.

You just need them by spring right? I have BF goodrich kdw in 225/45-17 that I may be looking to get rid of if I go with wider wheels this spring :yumyum:. They have about 2 summers left in them, maybe just one if you do a lot of auto-x. Pm me if you wish ;)

Sorry to thread jack but how did those hold up Moleness? It seems you can only get about 1.5 summers on a set of RT-615's.
