I have '04-'05 tail lights that were spray can (nightshades) tinted and then wet sanded. The end result is a not-too-dark tint that is fairly even. The only issue is that the driver side one has the corner chipped off, which has allowed some dust inside, making it appear a bit cloudy. I would think that it could just be rinsed out and then you could seal up the hole and be good to go. I am looking for a straight trade for stock '04-'05 tails. They can be seen (kinda) in my avatar, but shoot me your email if you are interested and I can take better pics.
Bump this! These are a good option for someone that wants to save lots of time and/or money on tail light tinting. I just have another idea brewing for myself
The 04-05 have the round part that cuts into the rear bumper cover. You could use mine with a little trimming if you weren't too anal, but yours would not look so good on my car.
i have 07 tails on mine and i didnt even trim it. u cant tell that its not ment to be there unless u get down and look at it close.
