What is this sound that I'm hearing between shifts. Is that the waste gate? What makes it sound like that?

haha..That's what I thought at first, but someone told me it was a the wastegate. So I had to ask.

Anyone know what kind it is?

fyi if you put that one on your car it doesnt mean it will sound just like that...

 

Dont you have to have lots of boost to make it sound loud like that?

 

u mean the flutter sound? the wastegate sound will be the roarrrr sounding after boosting kicks in. maybe this might help tIaL bov

Not saying I would get one, just like the different style sound.

I've searched youtube Tial and came up with lots of bov's, but nothing that sounds the same or even close.

Side note - how do you tune a valve to get it to flutter like that? Is it even possible, or is it to do with the turbo setup?

 

my buddy has one on his probe and it sounds like that. hes running 22 psi and it sounds like a turkey call. its a greddy bov
