I am running larger wheels and tires on my 2019 STI and am getting some slight tire rubbing on the rears. Before I go out and buy the $80 roller and do it myself with some YouTube help I wanted to see if anyone here has done or knows some who does Fender Rolling around the Twin Cities?

I've rolled a few dozen fenders now, go slow, apply heat to allow the paint to conform and understand the fender liners will never go back

My gut reaction is that a novice WILL crack the paint. If you drive the car in the winter (Oh noes, you can't do that! Drive an all-wheel drive, econo box-based car in the winter?!?! Are you crazy?) I' guessing you will have surface rust soon thereafter. I'm just speculating, I have no real-world experience with this. Good luck, and I hope you don't regret your wheel/tire choice.

Hahaha. Buy AWD for the snows, garage AWD during winter to keep from rusting. lol.

Are there still shops that do this? I know that getting the fenders rolled used to have a DIY or local shop option. Does anyone recall any shops that do it?
