I had origionally painted them myself, have sandblasted every square inch, and the did 4 coats of aluminum etching primer and then 3 coats of gold, and then another 4 coats of clear. Then last winter a guy decided to side swipe me, so 3 of the 4 wheels are new, and they matched the color and podercoated them I beleive, so 3 of the 4 are perfect paint, and the 4th could be wetsanded a little, but its hard to tell the difference unless they are side by side. They have Vinking WinterTech, basically continental made winter tires with plentty of tread left. I will never use them again, one tire has a nail in it (in the fixable area of the tread) but I noticed it when I took them off last spring and it hans't lost a pound of air form the nail, so the nail might not even go through, just didn't want to chance pulling it incase it did. $400 FIRM!! I am almost 100% sure that they will fit just fine, I have seen quite a few 02-03 wrx's with the 00-01 wheels on them.
They'll fit just fine, and they'll even give you a 7in wide wheel vs a 6.5in wheel, so you get an extra .5in of width. I run them on my 02 wagon and love them, I think they're easier to clear snow out of than then stock wheels and they look better too. This is a screaming deal, and if I didn't already have a set I'd be all over them. Good luck with the sale!
Are you kidding? Just consider the prices that those two choices will have a year or two from now. ...and how hard you'll have to look to find each. +1 bump for good deal; if I wasn't already set with winter wheels and spare rims, I would've already paypalled 400 to the seller.
