    My loss is your gain…
Some of you know me from awhile back, while many of you newer guys probably have no idea who I am. Anyways, I have had this Subaru since I was 16, the one and only owner and operator of the car, and have seen this car through many of its phases, some good and some not so good. I joined this club shortly after receiving my car and was active for quite sometime until I moved to Chicago for school, but none of that is important so I’ll cut right to the chase and get into the parts.

This is a 2003 WRB 4EAT WRX Sedan. It began as a stock WRX given to me at 16 and soon after the modifications began. Overall three different turbos have been placed into this car, each with the necessary supporting modifications. After the initial turbo had been replaced by an 18g, I moved onto a T3/T04E turbo, which developed shaft play, due to lack of oil I believe, so after that a UR T3/T04S turbo kit with a APS DR757 FMIC and UR 900cc injectors was installed by Bikerboy. This system ran fine for quite sometime but for some reason while living in Chicago with this car an electrical issue developed between the starter and coilpacks causing a very weird type of short circuit occurs. I will try to explain this but it is difficult…I would turn the key over and the system would then short out, but after a few minutes all of the electronics would work but then when I would try to start it again, the short would occur again. I think this was happening due the electrical system being wet as once I had parked my car in a garage for a bit the car would start without issue. However after bringing my car back to Chicago an odd noise.

    **UPDATE 7/28/09**
I have recently had time to actually get to the turbo and check its condition and surprisingly everything looks to be comepletely fine. There were no metal shavings anywhere, nor any scrapes around the blades. The shaft felt solidly in place and did not have any wiggle. After starting the car again it seem to return to stock idle but this lasted only a short time and then the CEL that had been thrown the previous time returned and before the car died I took my chance to check the CEL. It threw p1507, which appears to be something with the IACV valve and after some quick research it sounds like it simply needs a cleaning. I was very stunned to see that this was the CEL that was thrown for how bad the car began to run in my drive way, but I can't help but think that bad gas has something to do with it. So anyways I made some drastic assumptions and seem to be wrong and I decided to post this as I need to get rid of the car and I figure that knowing that the turbo is completely fine will make it much more enticing for someone. There still exists a small wiring issue that does not guarantee a start up everytime when it is wet outside, leading me to believe a wire is loose between the starter and coilpacks.

    NOW THE PARTS:
    Engine:
-APS DR757 FMIC W/ red pipes (silver replacement pipe for UR T3/T04S kit currently installed)
    -Koyo Radiator ~1000 miles
-UR (Ultimate Racing) T3/T04S (0.70 A/R) turbo kit with external wastegate
-UR 900cc injectors with resistor pack
    -Tial 44mm wastegate
    -Tial BOV with recirculation kit
    -Cobb V1 accessport
-Full 3” TBE exhaust with v-band connections and TurboXS exhaust
    -GM boost control solenoid

    Transmission:

    -IPT Valvebody modification
    -5,000lb transmission cooler

    Suspension:
-Zeal Function V6 adjustable coilovers with 15xxx-20xxx miles
-Type X springs, meant for dual use between road and track with the weights at 1000/1200 I believe (I found it to be a bit rough on the highways due to the high spring rates so I suggest them for a car that is going to see more track time)
-Whiteline rear sway bar W/ multi-position mounts allowing a few different sway bar stiffness
-Hotchkis Front Sway bar with endlinks

    Body:
-painted WRB sideskirts (most of the points where it connects, for one of the sides, are missing creating a need for an alternative way of connecting, I typically used some double sided tape and it held fine)

    -WRB JDM Hood Scoop
    -04/05 Tail Lights
    -Koji Style Stock Headlamps

    Interior:
-Alpine Headunit (CDA-9815) W/ original Ipod connection
    -Inifinty speakers all around
-two 10” punch subwoofers in trunk (one has a crack in it but still sounds ok)
    -Alpine amplifier (Model -> MRV-F450)
    -Passport SR-7 Laser deflectors
    -Compustar Security system W/ autostart
-Defi gauges (turbo, oil temp, exhaust temp) green numbers with black face with start up sequence
    -V2 Defi gauge controller
    -full cf interior trim kit

    Extras sitting in my garage:
These extra parts are just sitting in my garage and am willing to sell them seperately now. Most of them have some sort of price next to it but am open to all offers.

-Transmission and Oil fluid (almost entire case full of tranny fluid $50)

    -02/03 tail lights - $35
-stock silver interior trim kit (Free if anyone needs a piece as I found out its incomplete)
-Sparco Hoodpins (blue and unused) - $15
-Pioneer XM GEX-FM903XM with attenna and external display so it can work with any stereo $50
-Stock clock, free if somebody needs one
    -Stock Blow off valve $25
    -03 Stock 6 disc head unit $35
    -Stock un gutted uppipe $25

FOR EVERYTHING LISTED ABOVE, ASKING PRICE IS $4500 FLAT.
ANY SPECIFIC PICTURE DESIRED CAN BE TAKEN AND E-MAILED OR PMed...below are just shots of the Rota wheels and there damage but I do have pictures of everything listed, just dont want to clutter up this first post.
I will arrange for the car to be dropped off wherever the buyer lives or wishes for the car to be dropped off at.

I can try and make it down to firestone to deliver any parts or to show something but unless there is a reason I probably will not show so please PM me if you are wanting to see something in person.

I AM NOT WILLING TO PART ANYTHING OUT THAT IS ON THE CAR AT THIS TIME

    Thanks,
    J

The car currently has 59,836 miles...finally took the time to hook up the battery and take a picture of it to.

Trust me...if I had the time and tools I would pull it apart myself and sell it but with school being a time sink right now I just need to let it go finally and hope I can get some money back so its not a complete loss

and sorry for the extremely large pictures, when I get a chance I will resize them and tone it down

Shaft play? I wasn't aware you could "hear" shaft play in the turbo. You sure it's not rod knock in the engine?

Either way, still an awesome deal! I wish you good luck with the sale!

I am not at all 100% sure that it is shaft play, however there is a distinct noise coming from the turbo. Regardless the car is being sold as a parts car with no guarantee of running condition.

    Changes have been made

The CF hood and trunk have been switched for stock ones. There is still however a JDM scoop on the hood and the trunk now has a stock wing. The wingless trunk will still be included. The morette headlamps have now been switched for koji style head lamps as well. Due to these changes the price has now dropped to 5500$

Pictures will be included later tonight or tomorrow mourning to reflect the changes and to show the condition of the parts. The first post has been altered as well to reflect these changes

First post has been changed to reflect newly added parts and prices for all parts not on the car. And price for everything has been lowered to 5000 and I will take care of getting the car to where it needs to be, so long as it is inside of MN.

Sorry again about the size but I dont really have time to edit them down to a manageable screen size and am not sure how to import them onto my computer in a different size. Anyways, there are the hella horns with the wiring diagram. I do have the relay, just not in the picture but I do have it. One of them is in excellent shape while the other has not withstood the elements so well, which can be seen. These Hella horns are the regular type, not the extra loud ones. The td-04 is obviously used but has no shaft play whatsoever.

Yeah...shoot me your e-mail and I can do a picture of each tire with a penny in the tread for you. They are on the stock wheels however and I am not trying to take the tires off of the wheels if you were looking for just winter tires

I know that this may sound very fishy to some but the price does remain the same. Any inquiries will be considered and again that price purchases everything I have listed
