02 2.5 RS now with MOAR CAMZ!

    and .5L less displacement....

    Quite a few hours put in and countless dollars and THE TAXI lives on in my RS. Got a few kinks to work out (throwing a TGV stuck open code) and a few other things but its alive!

    Nice. Now, do you have a sonic yellow piece of body work somewhere on your car as a remembrance of the Taxi? Maybe a yellow grille, or hood scoop?

    if you had seen the tree-shaped deformation in the front of the frame, and the substantial engine damage as a result, you wouldn't be. the motor was definitely not ready to run!

    Yea.. broken cam gear, broken cam, bent cam cap bolts, 8 bent valves, oil cooler snapped threads off the block etc. It's been a expensive time consuming journey but it's almost 100% complete.

    Actually he did see it, matt is my best friend. He helped me swap a bunch of stuff from taxi to my new one. We knew lots of stuff was messed up. But good to see it lives on

    Got a few issues worked out (had a bad front 02 sensor and a tgv motor wasn't working) so it's finally not running in limp mode :) Now I gotta baby it so I don't need a tranny anytime soon.

    Good luck with with trying to baby it.... My recomendation don't get on it ever! You'll be addicted and never stay out of boost!!!
