Well 4 hours later, 1 Wild hockey game watched, and 2 silver/amber bulbs = a cheap and sweet looking mod. Took some patience but once I found the correct tool for the job it was just a matter of human vs. plastic. Bulbs work great, not as bright as a regular bulb would be but plenty bright day or night to be plenty visible. Now to get my new grill put on and do away with the oem piece. Thanks for all the help from my earlier post on this subject. "Ship in a bottle" method won over baking for me.
Not sure I get what ya mean by "rice"? You refering to the way my headlights look? My stock headlights with the ugly orange plastic dome removed? That makes them rice? Either way cheap and easy mod for me, sweet.

Orange Thanks for all the comments. As for the rice remark, I didn't think anyone even noticed the sidemarkers. To each his/her own. Yup, orange they blink. Wish they were brighter in the daytime but they're still noticable if you're paying attention. They also have "chrome domes" which are just tiped with the chrome and they're supposed to be %40 brighter. Here's where I got them-http://autolumination.com/1156_1157.htm 1156(7507 euro part #) is the part # you'd want for the front blinker. I got 2 sets hopeing to put a couple in back too but they don't fit so must be a different part # for those. I'll attach a pic of how they look at night. Wild sucked it up last night, not fun to watch.

Matt, you seemed like a decent guy when I met you, I'm wondering where the switch came from. He's got a black 02 WRX wagon he bought from our store. As for me dropping parts going off to ABRA Chanhassen, I'm more professional than that, and so are the rest of the guys in the department. fine i am sorry... i made a rude comment that obviously wasn't necessary... i've lost interest in this argument seeing that it's not goin anywhere... i do honestly like the bulbs now that i know they blink amber but at the time i only saw another kid putting white bulbs in and calling it a mod thus the harsh post... i would respond to readymix's post but it would only lead to more of this... but i'm glad you got that last word in subaru4... better hope we never meet again
