02 WRX timing belt changing

    NEED HELP!!! 02 WRX timing belt changing

    i think my 02 WRX need the timgin belt changing...also i heard i have to do the water pump changed too? is that true??? Can anyone tell me where is the cheapeest place to do the timeing belt/ water pump change??
    im livin in Brooklyn park!!! Thx for the help

    Not sure about the cheapest, I do my own. But you should replace the water pump as well, as long as you are in there and changing the timing belt.

    Yea, once you have that cover off replace all that you can. No sense doing it all again shortly afterwards.

    My car has 57K and I will be changing mine as soon as we slow down. I figure it wont hurt. But its true subaru does not recomend it till 105K. I know audi did that and we were seeing them break at 80K

    over any vw or audi product yes, at least for reliability. (cough, fires)
