Lock this up. No longer going back to stock. Keeping it as is and selling the car in near future as a whole. I'm going to rant for a minute if that's alright. What made me change my mind is the complete ignorance from people on facebook car pages and craigslist. My phone and email has been going off the hook non stop for the past 24 hours. And a majority of the messages have been complete disrespect. Whether it be not reading the ad that I tried to be detailed as possible in or just low balling the **** out of me. I understand everyone wants a deal but I am already taking a loss on all these items and people were not even coming close to my listed prices that I clearly stated I was firm on at the moment. I have been called an idiot by multiple people. I was just trying to sell some parts that are nearly impossible to find locally and I get called an idiot? I would have loved to find these things locally and not had to lose my ass on shipping but that's the price you pay in the car game. Some of these items took me years to source and I had shipped from all over the world. (Headlights, grill, scoop) It took a lot of fighting with myself to even post these all up in the first place. You guys are all car guys you understand the effort and time it take to piece these subaru together . And parting ways with something after putting that much time and effort is even more difficult then finding them. I know the people on this forum are more educated and know where I'm coming from. But I'd rather just sell as a whole. I apologize if i got any ones hopes up. That is all.....
I've been there on CL. Many times. I once was selling a car. Price said "firm, firm, firm" three times like that in the ad. Guy tests my car for 40 minutes! Talking, BSing. Then offers me less than 75% of my asking price and tells me he wanted to "flip it".
Yeah stuff like that is just rediculous. I could understand trying to get a deal like that if an ad says "NEED GONE ASAP" or something along those lines and someone needs the cash or is in a bind. Buy when clearly stated firm 3 times it's uncalled for. Just wasting the sellers time. I can usually deal with that here and there. But now imagine getting treated like that by 20+ people in a 24 hour span. That's what broke me.
Someone offered me 200 for the jdm headlights that I have over 600 invested in. Then they had the nerve to call me an idiot and a dumb ass because there is apparently no such thing as a bugeye sti anywhere in the world and I was trying to rip people off....

Yeah thanks man. I know only a true bugeye enthusiast would know the value on these things. But hey mabe it was a blessing in disguise because I already have 2 people that want to check out the car before even posting it anywhere.
