03 trans question

    what vin#'s were considered late model 03 with the different trans.

    TY754VW7AA are the early models
    TY754VW7BA are the later models, with the thicker gears...

    But that is not a vin # though... Just look on the VIN plate, or on the tranny code plate under the hood, it should say one of the 2 codes, and I believe wrx's built AFTER March 2002, have the thicker gears...
