I am going to kick myself for doing this, but my subie is for sale. I am buying a house and want some extra cash for home improvements. I am posting it here before autotrader/etc because I would like to see it go to an enthusiast. Here's the scoop: -2004 San Remo Red WRX wagon, 60k -VF34 turbo -STI pink injectors -SS uppipe -Koyo 55mm radiator(new) -STI short shifter -brand new Kumho tires -Perrin rear swaybar -transmission was refreshed 10k miles ago(new syncros, 1st, 2nd, 5th gears) I bought this car second hand less than a year ago. The trans was rebuilt because it was feeling kind of notchy when I bought it. I had a Subie tech drive it and he said that it is probably no big deal but decided to open it up anyway. It shifts like butter now. Most of the mods were done by the previous owner. I had plans to install breathing mods but I need to invest my money elsewhere. The radiator and tires are brand new. It has some kind of software upgrade but I have not determined what kind/level. The vehicle runs flawlessly. I have maintained it religiously since I have owned it. I hate to see it go and I am in no hurry to sell. $15,900 obo Regards, Chris
I don't have my PC setup yet, so unfortunately I cannot upload any pics. I will see what I can do though. The vehicle will not be available to see until next week because I am going out of town today. I will keep you posted.
I was wondering, its still under warranty but with those mods, isnt the warranty pretty worthless. I know someone looking but a warranty is essential.
The technician that did the transmission work had no problem with the modifications. The vehicle was rather new to me at the time and he was the one that informed me of the VF34 and the uppipe. This was before the repair. FWW.
You can run a vf34 through the stock tmic. Hell, it has pinks for injectors, so the tmic is not your only concern about making power. What I am more interested in is what/how is it tuned. vf34 with larger injectors and no indication of engine management or level of tune is a little more scary. Russ
