on my 04 sti, just put a fp green, and all the supporting mods. when hitting like 2-3 psi of boost letting off the gas fast, it sounds like a quiet bov. doesnt do it when you very gentely let off the gas

is this my stock bpv with a bigger turbo making the sound?

i have a aps 525 fmic as well, pretty sure i dont have any boost leaks, let me know for anything to check out..

    thanks

    Matt

Yeah, probably just natural turbo noise... If you have any exhaust mods including uppipe and downpipe or an air intake snorkle delete you will also enhance the turbo sound a bit too!!!

This is especially nice when running through the gears around buildings or tunnels hearing the air blow off even from a stock BOV!!! I like! It's NNNIIICE!!!!

uh yea... the bpv is releasing the compressed air back into the intake and since you have a less restrictive air filter, turbo and engine (bpv aswell) noise are less restricted aswell... anymore questions?
