04 wrx, project 2.1

Over the winter, i have been gathering parts for my 2.1 build on my 04 wrx and everything is going so good so far "knock on wood". The main point of this build is to build a street/track car that is good on gas, i hope. The power I'm looking for is about 350-450hp after this build with a good mid range power for doing autocross and time attack no drag. Here is the list of parts I have so far.

-new sti rods
-new sti crank
-new arp head stud
-new gasket kit
-new passport boost controller M
-new ACL bearing
-new time belt
-new 255 walbro fuel pump
-new ACT clutch

 

you're still missing THE crucial part of this build

still thinking on the size of the piston, injector and turbo to get other then that i'll wait until the motor is done to get down pipe, up pipe, lgt brake, sti tranny, xxr 18x9.5 with 35 off set rims, tires, and wideband gauges est. so far the motor is tear apart and ready to come out of the engine bay, hmmmm to busy with 2 job and college, i'll have to wait till next tuesday to work on it again

i will do, how many hp did u make after the build?

 

i havent had it tune yet, i just got my car back about 4 weeks ago and only about 3,500 miles on the motor, planning to test out a vf22 this year

 

sound good, i was also planing to try out the vf40 turbo too after the build but we'll see

 

yea try it out, im just trying the vf22 cause i have it laying around, but going get the fp hta68 next year

 

what a day, thanks to fuji, i got my motor out and apart. now i'm just waiting on the piston then have the motor bored out and balance hmmmmmmmm can't wait

My gates pulley kits has just came in and I'm all set to put the motor back together, just waiting on the shop to clean, hon, and balance my block. the only thing i have left to do and get is port out my heads, put in new values and spring, get a aftermarket downpipe, get a front mount kit, do my install on my fuel pump, finish my porting on my TGV, and clean clean clean all the parts that is going back on the motor.
