As title states, I bought these last year with the intentions of using them on the Forester this winter. Well the guy I purchased it from on here, won't disclose who, says they were straight and true. I purchased one extra wheel this summer because one had a pretty big rash. After coming from discount tires yesterday, turns out that one wheel had a big bend, three were ok. I didn't get a chance to test the other wheel which was at home. Since I placed an order for four steel 17 inch wheels, there are up for sale. Selling for significantly less than what I paid for all five. Asking 200 or B/O with full disclosure. Pm is best. Four rims are plasti dip gold. 1 rim in the box is not, can give a can of plasti dip if interested. Cheers
Yeah, I've noticed that people kinda suck at selling rims on this forum - wonder why these kids like to lie about the **** they sell. Luckily I got my bent rim straightened at a low price so I kept my set, but I might take 1 for a spare if you can sell 1 of them (the good one you bought as a spare).
What brand are they and how bad is the one known bent rim, repairable or did discount not know. I am looking for a set of 16' due to my upgrading my 05 brakes to the 07 brakes with the 07 tranny swap I am doing. Are they 16" and what brand? I might be interested, if they fit what I need. With no other information I would throw you a 100, got to start somewhere as I know it will cost around 200 plus to straighten (my wife bent her lancer RIM). not sure how I feel about the gold either, but they would be winter wheels anyway.
You would be doing the community a favor by disclosing who it was. I think everyone appreciates heads up on dishonest sellers.
06-07 wheels are 17 by 7.5 (decently narrow). his are plasti dipped, which means you can literally peel the gold right off, and it sounds like he has 4 good wheels so you probably wouldn't need to repair anything. I believe they are made by enkie but definitely don't quote me on that.

Fair enough, I guess I missed it. Yeah, it was a real zinger. I skim over these for sale threads to ensure dumbasses aren't ****ting all over them, and that the seller has the required info, they blur together after a while.
