Well. It's time for my STi and myself to part ways. Ran into some financial issues and it's my biggest debt, so it needs to go.

It's a 2006 STi with 18,6xx miles on it. It's WR Blue on the stock gold BBS wheels. I bought it in june with about 6600 miles on it. I drive from saint paul to bloomington to work every day, so about 75% of those miles are all highway miles. The car has had oil changes every 2000-2500 miles and I have used only Subaru oil filters, and have always used Mobil 1 full synthetic oil. It is sitting on Blizzak's with one winter on them, but I also have a full set of the stock potenza's for sale as well, that have maybe 3000 miles on them (someone thought it was a fun idea to slash my original tires. woo.)

The car is not stock, I have a K&N drop in filter, Invidia divorced downpipe, and a Greddy Ti-C cat back. It's in very good condition, but it has 2 small scratches along the rear passenger door. Anyone that can give a little TLC with some wet sanding should be able to fix that though. It also has a few rock chips on the hood/front bumper, the usual unavoidable things from highway driving on Minnesota's sandy roads.

Now for the short and sweet bad list of the car.
It has been in a small accident. Everything was repaired correctly and it drives 100% again. If you want to know details I can elaborate, and can also show you the list of repairs performed on the car that the shop gave me.

Down to the cost. I'm looking to get $33,000, or best offer with the exhaust and the cobb stage 2 tune, including the set of potenza's and an additional 2 potenza's from the original set (they only slashed tires on one side of the car, so two are still good)
If not, I will put it back to stock and put whichever tires you want on it for $30,000 or best offer. Or whichever configuration you might like, and we can come to an agreement. (I.E. Only the cat-back, etc etc)

    Please no low balling.
    So please, serious buyers only.

I work monday through friday, from 9AM to 5:30-6PM so we would have to set something up on a weekend, or around 8PM during the week, but please no later than 9PM. I can be reached by PMing me here, or my cell phone is 612-940-6254 (again, please no calls after 9PM)

Thanks for reading. I can e-mail pictures upon request, also (I'm not internet savvy enough to figure out how to post them on a forum hahaha.)

yeah, I hate to add negativity to an already lame situation for you...but considering the car was in a minor wreck and stuff, that price is a bit high. I got my 05 STi for like $18,700 ish...granted it has higher miles (hwy primarily--person commuted every day from st.paul to cannon falls)...but one owner and no wrecks. I can see mid 20's being reasonable for a starting place. you can get lower mileage 05's for around the low 20's... 06 is a newer body style, but still only a year difference...and as the other post said, 08's are in the 30's.

Wow this is a great deal. You should have it sold within a week. You just have to figure out how to take a loan out for 8K over book value. Shouldn't be hard at all.
Maybe I should sell my bug eye. Think I can get 20K for it?

That's more then I paid for my 06 new with less then 50 miles. Holy smokes.

Just for reference KBB suggests the following:

    Condition Value
    Excellent $27,190
    Good $25,745
    Fair $23,795

stop trying to make up for lost money by selling your car and charging for your ad ons because we all know that additions and modifications to the car deffinatly DO NOT add value. good luck!

be nice guys, this is a friend of mine.

I know you feel its high and all that, but if your not interested, lets not drag his allready sucky situation through the mud.

the car is baby diaper wiped, and pristine aside from when some douche desided to turn into his lane and scrape up the car a bit.

the car was fixed to the point of "im sorry, this screw is not oem.... fix... k thnx"

either way... im hopeing his money situaution gets better before this car really has to go... which is why that price is prolly set so high... would you want your baby to go?

Skarecrow, while I understand where you are coming from and I realize you are only looking out for your friend, he needs to come to terms with what he's asking. If he's setting the price that high because he doesn't want the car to get sold, he's only asking to get dumped on by posting it on the internet. If he doesn't want it to go, then don't post it. Otherwise, he needs to be realistic and ask what the car is actually worth, whether he's upside down in it or not. Asking what you would pay for an 06 new with almost 20k miles, front end paintwork to be done and a previous accident is just setting yourself to get kicked in the shorts hard and repeatedly. And I'm pretty sure I could get that entire list of mods including a few extra sets of wheels and tires at retail and still be under the amount that he's over book.

Good luck with the sale TRKG, but I think you're going to have to face reality on this.

I guess the bottom line is, the price is a bit high. We don't need anyone else to say it or to insult your friend. Just keep it in mind.

    End game.

I would also suggest taking off all your mods and going back to stock, your not going to get anymore money for your car with mods on it. You will get the same of not more for a stock car. Then you can sell your aftermarket stuff on here and get "some" of your money back.
