Got a cup of coffee and now I'll respond with more nonsensical response. There isn't anything you can do to gain any real horsepower with that engine short of some sort of forced induction and then you need to build that block up and possibly some sort of engine management. Assuming that is what you are asking for to "slap in". My suggestion is find a GD STI sway bar and get a nice stereo. Save your money and buy an Forester XT if you like that platform.

Check out here - http://www.subaruforester.org/ if you haven't already.

No point in trying to add power unless you want to swap the engine.

Anything suspension wise (for the most part) fits from an 02-07 WRX.

Yep, the NA platform you'd be getting minimal gains for a lot of money. Suspension work and dressing it up are pretty much the only mods that are really worth it on that model. Ran into that with my last 2 cars, you COULD swap out the intake/exhaust/headers, but the dollar to horsepower ratio is not in your favor. Possibly around a 15-25 hp gain if that. You'd spend less money selling yours and buying an XT than building the engine up and slapping on a turbo.
