This is from a Merkur forum I occasionally read. The guy (who is argueably deranged...lol) has been working on this for years. He basically cut the two cars apart and it takes him tons of little cuts of both to lower the truck bed down into the car. He said a days worth of work will allow him to lower the bed down a 1/4". He says he has an 1/4-1/2" to go before he can start smoothing the body lines together and getting the bumpers to fit etc. I'm sure Merkur people are mad cause he cut up a good XR4Ti and the SUbaru people are mad cause he cut up a good brat.
oh, and I think his inspiration is from the ford sierra (which is what the merkur XR4Ti is based off of) based p100
