tangledupinblu, Shibbs, and I are going to be wrenching at my house, today. We intend to do a couple uppipes, a downpipe, put in some Scotty's, and get after a couple of little things on various cars. Anyone is welcome to join us. The garage is NOT heated (I have a couple little ceramic heaters and a toasty Halogen lamp, but no forced-air) so dress warmly. I have a few beers, and I'm sure someone will end up driving over to Papa Murphy's to get some Pizza. Address is: 11800 54th Ave N Plymouth, MN 55442 You can call me at seven one nine two four two eight seven eight seven. It's OK if you call me Etchy. For Realsies.
+1...It was an experience that I'll never forget. But would rather. Thanks for all the help guys! It kinda felt like the longest day in recorded history. Haha, but mission accomplished.
We don't know yet. Fresh turbo + wastegate, new up-pipe, downpipe and turbo back, and GM BCS. So he's ready for a strong Stage 2+. He needs a tune before he can run much boost safely.
Josh, has your car esploded, yet? Or did we, despite all odds stacked against us, do it right? Sawzall FTMFW. Heatshield FTMFL.
And we did my uppipe. I have a stubby 1/4" drive ratchet, a wire crimper, and a set of wire-connectors that don't belong to me sitting in my garage, now. I believe the owner of all 3 of these items is Josh. My garage is also clean.
No problem. I'm just glad I had a sawzall and most of the necessary tools on hand. We got... lucky... in certain situations.
The car has not exploded...yet. I'm really sick of not boosting already, I needs a tUn3zzzz!! I'll take the 1/4 inch drive ratchet back if that's mine. But the other tools were for you. Congrats on the clean garage!:eek3: Maybe the wife won't divorce you now. Lolz.
Ooooo Thanks. I can has t3h electrical works from Eli? (I need to install a boost gauge and could use your wiring expertise. It's easy!) :hsugh: The wife never saw the garage when it was dirty and I promised her that I would get most of the boxes out this week so she's very cool, now. She was also more than happy to let me out and play in the garage. For some reason she has very few issues when it comes to wrenching on cars and doing car-club stuff... weird.
