I heard on the radio this moring that a 16 year old kid in Illinois broke his local county's speeding record is his Impreza.

142 in a wrx? :eek2: I don't want to assume anything, like where, what circumstances, etc....but I think they should take his car, sell it, and then take the money and put up a highway improvement sign that thanks him for the funding....:laugh:

it just says impreza so it could have been a STi. what i dont get is if he was clocked going 142, why didnt he get away. not that he should have cause it bad to run formt eh popo. but it would be kinda hard for them to catch him, unless they had helocopters and a bunch of cops w/ radios.

 

it aint hard to catch a young kid speeding.. wait till the next 3 corners.. he is bound to be right there next to the pole... or actually about 50 feet away in 30 pieces...

Bam aside, I think this picture gives an interesting perspective on what it would be like to drive a new lambo. Looks like you could hit warp speed in it.

I topped out my Z on 494 at about 3 in the morning and I hit 163 on my digital MPH guage. Kinda scary but I had to do it. 4 lanes wide and no cars. How come you guys don't like the lambo's? I think they are amazing!!!! Morries Maseratti had a Gallardo late summer last year and that was one mean looking car!

i got busted while going over 125 on cedar over the mn river in my wrx.

thank god the cop didnt' get the radar on me. I did get a free road side sobriety test from it though and a ticket for "speeding"
