yeah it was MIA for a sec. I like the wheels. Otherwise that was basically a waste of money. How can there be a difference of 250hp between the wheels and the crank?

Looks nice, but no one, especially in this current economy is going to have the money to buy such a thing. :eek4:

    A fool and his money...

Looking at the decals on the other vehicles he strikes me as a nouveau riche chode that likes to light dinero en fuego.

Its a well put together car but i think the shops that did the work knew he had a deep pocket so they took advantage of that! Some of those numbers where just hilarious

    Puh-lease.

750 crank hp? 33% drivetrain losses? Why no dyno sheet? A 3.6 0-60 time? Why no 1/4 time? No PPG gears?

If he paid out of pocket, well, a fool and his money were lucky to get together in the firt place!

    It ain't going to sell...

Details, schmeetails. I don't need no stinkin' details...

The seller eerily reminds me of some dot.com guys I knew that shot their wad like Johnny Holmes on "cool stuff" only to end up hawking it for pennies to afford Ramen.

The whole numbers of wHP and crank HP seems kinda odd. Chances of getting exactly "500"whp and "750" Crank HP are super slim. I think its estimates only. but yea, a Dyno graph would prove everything.

If I'm gonna spend that much I'll buy something else, maybe a Skyline GTR.

I dunno why everyone wants a skyline GT-R. they're really not that special other than the fact that they never sold them here. a corvette costs less and will in general smoke a skyline.

^wow, umm ok and where do you get your info????:laugh:

ok and besides that(and thats a big THAT^)

we don't all buy cars for---how fast they go-----

and next time please specify since you seem to be anal about this stuff...around a track, in a straight line??? I'm pretty sure you have no proof other than he said she said and articles on line and in print...which means by those facts the Skyline which is actually NOT a skyline is faster.....its a GTR...cmon now? so if you MEANT a skyline I would agree....GTR...NO

    GTR FTMFW!

Tisk, tisk. I think its pretty common when people just have a ton of cash to throw at something, don't do any of it themselves, and end up with no emotional bond with the car so they don't care if they sell it. With no blodd, sweat or tears involved in the process, only check writing, there's no real love for the car IMO.

Yeah. It also get around a track faster than a 911 Turbo. A heavy car with 600 horsepower and tons of electronic aids I'm sure is real fast but doesn't sound like as much fun to drive as a 1200 lb car with 200 bhp to me.
