So we have inherited a 1990 rx7 convertible with 27,000 original miles on it. I will try to get some pics on here in the next day or two. I really don't know much about the car other than it was my wife's uncle's that passed away. I do know the car has a prior salvage title on it but it appears to be in excellent condition, not even a scratch on the the thing. Honestly we don't even know what we should be asking for it. Not sure if anyone on here would be interested or not but pm if you would like any additional details or if you want to take a look at it. The family is looking to get rid of it quickly so I doubt it's gonna be very expensive. He also has a an 88 fiero which i haven't gotten to see yet but knowing him it is probably in excellent condition too, same deal they are just trying to get rid of it. Like I said PM and I'll try to get any info you need to you quickly...cheers.
I know you're not sure what it's worth, however we require a price on all FS items. Just throw something out you think is fair and take it from there. Also, you might want to toss this up on mngaragegeeks. They go nutty for RX7's there.
I know they were asking 5K for it, but to be honest I don't think anyone has the foggiest as to what it is worth I was kind of hoping for a little feedback from the crowd on here.
ok sorry, I'm getting more details every few minutes here is the info on the rx7 apparantly they posted it on autotrader. I know they are willing to deal. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ZDA&searchRadius=25&listingId=325976470&Log=0
Dude! Wow! They salvaged it for hail damage?! Insurance company fail. But win for anyone looking for a nearly mint RX convertible. That thing looks flawless. GLWS.
Price has been reduced $4,000, for the cleanest convertable rx 7 ever. Only 27,000 original miles, PM me and we'll go whip it around
4,000 bucks? For less than the cost of a BRZ, you could buy this and swap in an engine and tranny swap from a GTO or Corvette, throw some sweet staggered wheels on it, and have a seriously fun car to cruise around in. Not to mention, it's a convertible.
Your wife needs her head examined. A nearly unmolested RX7 vert, that is just a few years away from wearing 'classic' tags, with 27k original miles....for 4000.00. I've damn near talked myself into it, and I don't need another car. It's got the leather and what not as well. And it's an auto. For summer time commutes, hot Fridays, weekend putzing around, and just general good times...till the dancin' dorito's apex seals take a crap, you swap in an LS-V8 + Auto tranny...then it'll last forever.
Dude, seriously. Buy it anyway. Go to a credit union and get one of their happy fun time 2.9% auto loans for used cars. Your payments will be nothing. Park it for the winter too. Summer car FTW! I haven't loved a car like I love the Z roadster, too much fun in the summer time. You really can't go wrong here.
I am trying to help you sell it. If I didn't just buy a 350z roadater, I would probably have snapped this up in a heartbeat.
let me know if you want to take a look at it, I should be around this weekend, might try to make it to the cars and coffee meet Saturday.
To be honest I haven't driven it, apparently neither did my wife's uncle, google says 2 Dr STD Convertible Compare Price $27,029 MSRP Engine 1.3L 160 hp R Seating 2 MPG 15 city 23 highway Drivetrain RWD Body Style Convertible
still trying to get details from the other uncle on the fiers, they are dealing with his whole estate the guy had 4 rental properties and half a dozen cars, I will try to get details in the next day or two and I will start a new thread for it, I'll PM you details first though as soon as I know.
Pm me your name and number. The wife really likes it but only if it can get better mpg then my outback which is 23 city/hwy. looking for more eco car to drive to work.
