1991 Black Subaru Legacy Sport Sedan 5 Speed 164,000 Miles $2000.00 USD OBO This has been my winter beater/daily driver for a year now. It's one of my dream cars and always has been. I had plans for this but because I'm moving to Texas (Dallas) in 3 weeks I'm going to need to sell it. The good: New timing belt, new water pump, newer tires (about 6000 or so miles on them). Everything is stock and has been it's whole life. I bought this from a 2nd owner that was an older guy that had kids that grew up riding in the car. It starts VERY well and idles good most of the time. It has a bit of idle surge but nothing major. Transmission works great and shifts fine I did a compression test on it after I bought it and it checked out. The only "mods" I have done is I have a autometer boost gauge, I swear I've never installed a MBC as I didn't have a TMIC to support the higher boost, it was just a first step. The bad: The body needs some work, it's not horrible, just needs some paint and there's rust by the wheel wells. The suspension is old and the thermostat leaks, I believe my mechanic used the same gasket or something when doing the water pump, but the leak is MINOR you just smell coolant every now and then. I HATE to see this go, I love this car it's a 1991 which I believe is one of the best years to have (LSD rear and oil cooler if I remember right), it's a 5 Speed and it's in decent shape for being almost 17 years old. I have people interested in buying it right now but I'm going to post it on here for a little while because to be honest I would love to see a Subaru Enthusiast buy this thing, and in light of Colin Mcrae's death it would be nice to see a Legacy Sport go to someone who appreciates it. Peace -Shawn
I would love to have this to keep miles off my car. But I did get a job starting next Wednesday and the drive is only 15 miles one way so miles are no big thing now. Plus we might be buying our first house in a couple of weeks. Damn growing up and being responsible.
if i didn't still have the svx i would love to have it to play around with, cant afford more cars tho
^ good luck, this thing should go fast. Hell if I didn't buy a truck like 3 weeks ago I'd be at this guys house with Cash In hand tonight. I hope this thing goes to someone that knows how lucky they are to have it.
