Selling our 1997 Subaru Legacy Outback. Need to sell asap to alleviate some financial stress. Posting up for $2500 or best offer.

Has around 340k on the body. Has an ej22, new timing belt kit and water pump, newer general altimax winter tires, new struts, new brakes, new power steering pump. Just did valve cover gaskets and plugs too.

Also has remote start. Rear drivers door need some autobody wizardry to get it to open and close consitently. a few other small quirks, but overall this car is in rust free and good condition for its age.

Please contact Yusef @ 612-275-7398 if interested. Pretty much will take the first reasonable offer!! Thanks for looking!!

Upload to Imgur, select large or medium thumbnail. Should fix.

    What other quirks?
    Manual or automatic?
Y u no post in like 2 months after I have been getting some steady paychecks?

Ahhhh, it is an AUTO....so bad at that...The dome light doesn't turn on when you open the drivers doo, I think this is an artifact of whoever wired in the remote start. this car originally had a 25d, so I think the torque converter is meant for a little more torque...when everything is cold (like winter cold) it needs an extra minute to "wake up"...otherwise it's the slow lane for this Ole girl.

Truth be told I didn't do the swap on the motor, it came from a junk yard is all I know.

I can say however that it doesn't use any oil, and I did just maintenance the VCG's, Timing belt/WP/Rollers, and plugs. It passes the cold start oil cap test too.

I have never hesitated at driving it anywhere - it is a solid little machine and a solid little ej22. Sorry that I don't have a more definitive answer.
