I need to thin down the number of cars I have. This car has been really fun and I am sure I will regret this. This car was built to compete in an ST class

    Info about the car:
    *'98 2.5RS, 5sp (1 of 995 5sp '98 coupes) with 18X,XXX on the body
*Fresh engine 2 years ago (We started with a low mileage healthy used engine, completely rebuilt the heads by Cylinder Head Services in Minneapolis, complete OEM gasket set was installed, new timing belt, idlers, water pump, plugs, wires, etc.) The engine is tight as a drum and strong. I've worked on many Subaru engines before and believe the work that was done is very high quality.
*Strong trans with new clutch (while motor was out)
    *Ice cold A/C
*Engine mods are Phenolic intake spacers, Borla replica header, cold air intake, and stainless catback exhaust
*The car is from Oregon (no road salt). It hasn't been driven in the winter in MN. I've stored it every year while I have had it. No rust ever. The rear quarter panel had some superficial cosmetic damage when I got it and I had it professionally painted (I can provide pictures).
    *New front ball joints
*BC Racing adjustable coilovers with adjustable top hats
*Whiteline heavy duty end links front and rear with whiteline rear and Tribeca front swaybars
*All new rotors and pads, braided stainless brake lines with ATE Super Blue brake fluid
*Rota Tarmac 17x8 wheels with RE01R 225/45/17 tires with 50-60% tread left
*Fenders were rolled with no cracked paint and no tire rubbing
*STI shift knob with kartboy shifter and shifter bushings
*GrimmSpeed master cylinder brace included but not installed (or is it? I can't remember)

What is needed to make it perfect?
*There are lots of rock chips on the front end. Would look perfect if that was resprayed.
*Drivers seat has some wear on the seat bottom. Would look great with some reclining sport seats or STI seats.

Asking $7900 obo Price is based on all the mechanical work that has been done and the rust free body which is getting very difficult to find on these. I would send my mom across the country in this car with no concerns.

Oh, and the "GrimmSpeed" vinyl has all been removed. Some spare parts are included. Stock and clear side markers included.

Potential buyers may wish to know the source of the engine.

Looks to be in great condition. GLWS.

Good question. The engine was from a Legacy that was being parted out due to accident damage. I got it off of craigslist. It had approximately 80k miles. Based on the cleanliness of the inside, I would say the oil was changed at regular intervals. We could have just dropped the motor in because it was healthy and hadn't overheated or anything strange but we rebuilt the heads, new redesigned head gaskets, new belts, etc. out of best practice because we wanted it to be very reliable.

Also, I have a stack of receipts for the work that has been performed.

What year Legacy? (people will probably ask whether you stuck with DOHC or went to a SOHC)

That's correct, it is a DOHC EJ25. Here's a couple videos from last year at DCTC.

If anyone wants to see the car in person, I should be at DCTC this Sunday for MOWOG6 with the car.
