Ok alot has changed since my old ad so i figure i would put up a new one.

Car is located in sioux falls, sd

    1998 subaru impreza 2.5rs 2 Door
5 speed, power windows, power locks (have the factory keyless box and fob floating around somewhere)
17 in rota wheels with 2 sets of tires, one set is blizzaks (50% tread) the other is bridgestone potenza re92 (60%)
02 wrx front and rear seats
    ractive weighted shift knob
glow shift triple pod painted gloss black with aem wideband and autometer boost gauge
    apexi Safc2
    power sunroof
    Engine:
EJ22t closed deck block with 600 miles
brand new oem subaru pistons, nippon rings, subaru bearings, subaru headgaskets, Pink intake manifold, wrx tmic, turbo xs type 1 bov, ported and polished tdo4 turbo, turboxs boost controller, new radiator, new timing belt, fresh oil
    Cooling:
New radiator, new thermostat, new coolant hoses (both radiator and heater)
    Fuel:
390cc legacy injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump
    Drivetrain:
    factory RS trans
    act clutch

I bought this car last october as a project, i got the car running and driving and spun a rod bearing in january. I purchased a rebuilt ej22t from an old coworker, who had rebuilt it 2 years prior in his college auto tech class. He put in new subaru main and rod bearings, new water pump, new oil pump, and then installed non turbo pistons. When i got the motor i had the cylinder bores looked at and checked to be straight, i removed the non turbo pistons and installed brand new oem subaru pistons, nippon piston rings, new oem subaru headgaskets, new iacv, new throttle body and intake gaskets. I also installed a ported and polished td04 turbo with 20k miles on it along with full 3 in exhaust. I put about 200 miles on the motor and pulled it to remove and install a new rear main seal (which the coworker replaced but pushed in to far) and while the motor was out i put in a new oem subaru throw out bearing with clips and a new fuel filter. The bad part with the car is that it has spun a rod bearing, i found out yesterday the coworker i bought it from thought that doing a super special blend of 5w30 motor oil, parts solvent, and red scotch bright to the bearings would increase lubrication, which in fact it did not. The car does still run and drive, but i am no longer driving it due to this problem. You can get a new rotating assembly from a NT ej22 and swap in and be set for very minimal money.
I know these cars can be difficult to find but i am open to offers. Would do a trade as well. I will also include the full stock RS seats, and a second full 3 in exhaust with the car as well as any other parts i may have laying around.

Would prefer to do a trade, clean and clear title is in hand, cash i would say 4800 obo. Please no bull**** and no part out requests.

may be my eyes but it looks like the tmic is not connected to your throttle body.

this car is still available. Would like to trade for a jeep or extended cab pickup. I have a new crank and rods to go with the motor as well.
