1998 Impreza L/RS

Up for sale is my 1998 Black Impreza L 2.2. This car has been my daily driver for the last 5 years. A lot of you have seen this car, it is not perfect but a fun daily driver in the summer and winter. It held its own very well at two of the "ice race" events that Rich held.

2.2 L motor ~ currently 180k i beilve
Timing belt and water pump replaced by Bikerboy less than 2 months ago.
2.5 RS swaped parts
Front bumper ~not painted, small crack
Yellow Fog lights ~ currently not hooked up
RS Dash
RS Front and rear seats
RS Hood w/scoop and vents (unpainted) (also have the stock scoopless hood)
RS crystal headlights
JDM RS Grill with pink I badge
Modifications
06 wrx f/r struts
lowering springs, i want to say eibach...i cant remember to be honest.
wrx steering wheel
leather shift boot with red stitching.
WRX Rims with Bridgestone Potenza tires (depending on price may be included)
Stock steelies with unknown brand of tires (will be included)

The car was purchased from a NASIOC member from California when i purchased it. Readymixx vouched for the guy as he knew him personally, i bought it without seeing it and had it shipped here, couldnt have been happier with the car.

Currently wrong with the car
Car has slight piston slap, this was confirmed by Bikerboy when he did the timing belt.
A/C doenst work
Drivers window scissor arm just broke, havent been able to source a used part, but simple replacement.
Driver front wheel bearing needs to be replaced. Again havent had a chance to do this as it just happend less than 2 weeks ago.
The car was resprayed with Java Black Pearl from the guy i bought it from, but the paint job isnt the best, but not bad for a 14yr old car.
The front drivers side corner light isnt installed, i hit some small brush with the car and it broke that corner light, i have a new know just not installed.

This car would make a great car for winter use, ice race car, or just a reliable daily driver that gets 25-30 mpg.
