Ok I am getting rid of the car due to space and my future plans. I was planning of fixing this but it's not going to happen anymore. Long story short, timing belt broke bent valves, cams stuck won't turn and due to engine not useable anymore, replaced motor still won't start. If you can figure it out, your gain. You will get the old motor as well. As is, you will need to tow it. Clean title in hand. 5-speed. Tires less than 5k miles. Brakes changed last fall. As far as I can tell and a mechanic who looked at it, little or no rust at all. Slight hood damage, passenger headlight bracket broke but glass still intact and works and no grille. I took out my stereo for the car I bought which didn't come with one. Driver power window tab broken but still operational. I bought this car like this. Looking for $1500/bo... more pics upon request...
Old motor story - I was driving it to the gas station to get gas during my break at work and I heard some clinking noises and the motor stopped so somehow i managed to move it to a parking spot and checked out the damage. Both timing belt covers blew out and the cam gears were all busted up. I can't get the driver side intake cam to spin anymore, so I'm thinking that was the issue. As for parting it out, i neither have the space nor the time to do it. It's still a very good car and just needs a motor or the motor in it needs fixing, you get them both if you buy it. It would be a nice project car.
