I recently picked up newer car and sadly the Subaru has to go, I'll miss awd a lot but such is life. Miles: 146k exactly The Good: I replaced the clutch with an Exedy 30k ago. replaced fuel pump last winter. New pads and rotors last year. Installed a cd deck with aux in which works great. Roof Rack, fold down seats, has alloy wheels. AWD and Stick! The Bad Couple of the passenger doors close a little harder than normal but not awful. Has typical Subaru rust spots Slow oil leak from either front main or cam seals, leaks to a point and stops entirely. Oil light will flick on here and there at stops or hard turning but it still runs like a top. Maybe something to replace if you feel like doing the timing belt. lighter rust stains from a rusty parking ramp pipe that dripped onto it. Should buff out fine but I dont have a buffer. Overall its been one of my favorite cars and its hard to see it go. $2600 obo (emphasis on the Or best offer)
Unless the engine was swapped with a 96 or older EJ22E, then your car does have an interference engine. All 97+ single port EJ22E's were interference engines. I have a fondness for OBS' and would gladly buy this if I were in the market for one. As far as the front cam and/or oil pump seals go; they can all be replaced in about three hours and for less than $50 in parts. GLWS
