I thought an SF was the foz for me, but I'm slowly coming to the realization that I just flat out like my SG better. Not expecting to get much if any money back from the repairs I've done, so my indecision is someone else's gain. Car will also be going up on CL, but OBO holds much more traction for a fellow MNSubaru member. Info on this fine vehicle is as follows:

    1999 Forester S - 159K miles

Two-tone silver exterior with gray interior
    Power windows/locks
Heated front seats (amazingly both still work great)
98-02 dash pod (compass, temp, altimeter, barometer)
Stock mud guards removed in lieu of Gorilla Offroad Company mud flaps

    The good:

Head gaskets and timing components @ 157K miles
New fuel filler tube @ 157K miles
    New alternator @ 158K miles
    New battery @ 158K miles
    The bad:

Driver's front axle clicks a bit if you turn just right
Nicks and dings here and there, a bit of rust on some of the fenders and a bubble on the bottom of the hatch

I am currently daily driving this vehicle and may do additional maintenance as time goes on (diff fluid, trans fluid, axle, etc.) Will update thread accordingly.

    Current price is $3.800 OBO

I thought the old tires/wheels would detract from the sale too much, so I swapped the better tires/wheels from my '07 onto it. Off the top of my head, I think they maybe have ~15K miles on them. Will reply with more info when I'm back home with a tread depth gauge.

You'll have to talk to Mr. Washington ... tread depth gauge is currently dangerous and on the loose somewhere.

I will give you exactly three dollars and eighty cents, just as you ask. When can I pick it up?

Seriously... I bet this would be a great DD.
