I have stepped into the realm called parenthood and need to get rid of my RS. It has 167k miles on it and is still trucking along without a problem. Comes with a set of summer and winter tires that have roughly 50% tread left on both sets. Head gaskets have not been replaced, were carefully watched by myself and last owner. Subaru recommended stop-leak fluid added to coolant to prevent leaks as precaution, I guess this GC got lucky! Timing belt and water pump were done at 112k. Has a new set of spark plugs, wires and coil pack. Interior is phenomenal for a 14 year old car, with no smoking or pets. No rips or tears in the seats whatsoever. The bad: 1. It was in a small fender bender this past fall and it hit just hard enough to break the front driver side headlight and corner, bent the hood up a bit, and broke the clips for the grill piece. I replaced the headlight and bent the hood back as best I could. With a new hood it would look good as new. 2. It also has a bad rear passenger strut that rattles quite a bit. I have 4 brand new struts that I never got around to installing that come with the car. 3. The rust, enough said? It has a few spots of rust in the common places that are getting pretty big. 4. (Minor) - The heatshield underneath the car rattles pretty loudly everytime it goes past 3k RPMs. Just needs someone to get under it and pry the rattling pieces apart or remove the heatshield completely to fix. Other than that, it's in great shape. Need to sell fast, trying to price it that way as well. Asking $2500 OBO. Pics to come within the next 48 hours.
WOW this sucks! Wish I would have checked mnsubaru earlier. This is exactly what I am looking for. Let me know if the person who bought doesn't want it for some reason.
