My sisters thermostat is sticking. How hard/ easy is this to change? Is one from a parts store good or should she get an OEM one. does anyone have one? Would anyone help me change this tomorrow before she goes back down to rochester? If not could someone from rochester help her out? Thanks everyone Bill
very easy, pick one up, with gasket from me but bring the last 8 of her vin # its two bolts, zip zip fill with coolent, burp, done.
thermostat sticking on a 2.5 dohc? hmmmm sounds more like headgaskets to me, they are notorious for them, never know though... goodluck!
anywhere from 1200-1700 depending on where you do it, and what is all done, good time to seal up the rear seperator plate, do a t-belt, waterpump and all the seals along with check the valves. if your lookin to get rid of it, id love to buy it from you.. sus's are nice pm me with any questions
Well, we are going to get it fixed for her. But if you are in the market for a new car I have 2 I would sell you. I would even put SUS stickers on them for you if you want. 97 legacy auto 3k 95 Grand prix Auto 2400 Let me know...
Took it to Mike Wray, they found that it was head gaskets. They also adjusted the timing belt tensioner. Thanks Mike for the great work. (or your dad if he did the work)
