So I am trying to get feel this idea out and see what I can get for these 2 phones. My story is I am tired of AT&T and they are drving me crazy with the latest issue I had with them, long story short I am thinking of switching to Verizion and would need to sell my AT&T phones to do it. If I find a buyer, it will take me a day or maybe 2 to close the deal ( go to AT&T, cancel, get my verizon phones and then you could have them. I have everything they came with and the one has been in an invisible shield since the moment I bought it, but both are in great shape. I can throw up a picture soon. For price purpose I am going to say $1050 for both, I would prefer to sell both at same time to save me the headache but I could seperate.

I always have had good luck too. I have been with AT&T for 8 years. Little things have added up over those years, When I moved from MN to CO I had to pay $32 per line to transfer to a CO phone number, and they reset my upgrade time to another 2 years, so I had to wait 3 years for an upgrade, then now that I am back they want another $32 per line to transfer back to MN, and they say it won't change my upgrade which I know it will. Then to top it off I called and ordered a 3rd line and got my phone in the mail the next day and it had an Arizona area code for the new phone, I called and they said to open the package, take out the phone, activate it, and then they can change the number, so I did. I was on the phone literally an hour and they get back on the line to tell me that if I want a different number I need to put the phone on its own plan which would run me an extra $105/month. So I returned the 3rd phone and that was another mess.

They charged me a $35 restocking fee because I opened the box:banghead:, and the phone only cost me $25 shipped.

Wow. Totally different experience than I. My service was having issues. Missing a couple calls etc. so every time it happened I called and got $300+ off our phone bill for 4-5 months straight. I would of been irate in your situation.

The only reason I am looking to sell if because the Iphone 5 is still worth quite a bit, and I'm not looking to hide my plan, but my thought is to sell the phones which right now are going for $450-$550 per phone -Early Term Fee=money left over to by Verizon phone.

AT&T will unlock them for free. Then you could get $600 a piece.

AT&T will only unlock the phones if you have a current account with them and the 2 year contract is fufuilled. They will not budge on this due to their agreement with apple. The charges for changing your number.. did you call in and get that done or did you go to a corporate store? I know the guys at MOA are pretty good and if you go in and complain about your extra charges they will work with you and taking them off. The term fee sucks, depending on how long you have had your phones its going to be around $250+ per phone. Id NEVER deal with customer service over the phone at AT&T.. Its the absolute worst cs in the world. In the store however.. they are great and usually will go above and beyond because their newest thing is getting high scores for recommending att. I know all of this because I have worked for AT&T for 5 years. If you need insight or tips on how to get around things let me know!

True, but not with the iPhone. anything thats not apple they can unlock whenever.. If its an iPhone 5 you have to wait the full two years to unlock it.

Well I have returned the 3rd line in the store and they are the ones that made it worse. A $35 return fee for a $25 phone because it was opened because they told me to. I appreciate the option of service and correcting it, but at this point the bad taste is still there. I went to the store off Ford Pkwy and the guy told me he could return the phone but could not cancel the number because it wanted to charge me an ETF even though the line was not even 48 hours old, so he told me to call 611 and tell them to cancel the line. I called 611 and they told me they couldn't because the store had not noted the phone to be turned, so I then had to call the store back and tell them to note the system then call 611 back.

the restocking fee is really up to the manager to waive or not. The manager at moa will not budge on restocking fees but some of the other managers might. The manager at att will however give you something to offset the cost of it.. like a case or something worth $35. You just have to make it known that you really dont want to pay the restocking fee. Sorry to keep cluttering up your sale thread.. I just want to give you the best info possible. I dont work there anymore but the guys there are like family. They are one of the top stores in the country for not only sales but customer service too. I'm not sure how far moa is to drive but in the future, id give it a shot
