ive been itchin to start doing light modifications to my GT just to make DD better.
    my car: 1998 legacy GT

ive looked a little on ebay for a few things and i can never find any 95-99 specific GT parts but i can always find 98-01 or 93-01 impreza/2.5rs parts and more specificly could i use an aftermarket 2.5rs intake for my car?
could i use aftermarket 2.5rs rotors for my car?
could i use aftermarket 2.5rs suspension for my car?
and lastly do the front strut bars bolt up to the struts of my car and a 2.5rs

im almost certian i could use the intake. but what about the others?

alot of stuff will interchange, pretty much any intake designed for a MAF sensor will work

I'm pretty sure the GD front strut braces work on the BD's. There are lots of parts that interchange, I suggest you go over and browse www.sl-i.net since it is a legacy specific forum.

the brake rotors are the same.

the suspension will fit, but not perfectly. the ride height drop will be a lot more on the legacy than an imp.

huh, i'll try and answer your question.

-intake, you can use a 98-99 maf intake
-suspension- u can use wrx or impreza's
-strut bar- you can use 98-01 GC bars, iono about GD
-brakes, you CAN use impreza's rotors since you have 2 pot brakes, you can also upgrade to wrx rotors and brackets as GC owners do this often.

    in the future
-exhaust; header, high flow the same, catback has to be jdm or custom or spend a good amount of $ on it.

false. I had $250 or less into my exhaust before I started the swap, and I have yet to hear a BD, or almost any subie I like the sound of better than mine.

i was stating that a impreza catback will NOT fit as it will need to be legacy specific that will cost and arm and leg for or go custom for a cheaper route.

awesome thanks alot guys. so i can basically get new wrx rotors (front and rear) and throw em on no problem..and also i dont think i would ever go ebay exhaust or anything like that. i was just talking ebay for a few things like an intake and maybe a strut bar.

no. rears yes, but WRXs use larger front brakes than RS/LGTs which won't fit without caliper brackets.
