    2-Door GC8 Wagon? MS paint :( FTL

    Bad idea?


    forgive my poor ms paint skills , I did this about 3 min ago.

    bad chop is bad. lol, it still has the trunk spoiler. maybe I'll work on a better chop after i process rallyx pics - it could be kind cool i think

    Great I'll start searching the uk sites.


    maybe if the rear glass was all on the same level, smooth and tinted it would look better?

    there are quite a few widebody 2 door bug-eye wagons that I've seen build threads of.

    I just used a wide body because thats the only real side shot i had after seeing the wagon for sale on here

    i like it but i wonder if it would be better to start with a coupe. and add the rear section to the coupe

    why would it be? just weld and get the doors flush and you cant tell.

    you know what might be even easier?

    get a wagon shell and knock out the b pillar and move it back and replace the front doors with coupe doors and then get coupe 1/4 panels and rear side glass.

    i remember seeing a 2 door jetta made that way years ago in SCC.

    the longer door is the key to pulling something like this off visually. that and a ton of money and/or skill.

    just welding the rear doors shut and hiding the body lines isnt enough.

    personally the toyota/subaru 2 door cant come out fast enough for me.
