The Good: Sam is a beautiful 100 LB purebred Akita. Sam is food motivated and is usually eager to please. He knows sit and wait for treats. He does very well on his lead and can walk "side" with a loose lead. He is usually quiet and he is crate trained. He is very sweet and loves people. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old and is our second Akita. The Bad: Our four year old son left the gate open. He got out and killed the neighbor’s cat. The cat was 17 years old and he broke it's back. Nobody saw it happen so we're not sure exactly what happened. We are very sad about the whole incident. He would do best in a household experienced with the breed and with children over 10. He is neutered and is current on all vaccinations. He also has a micro chip for identification. We are asking for a $100 adoption fee as well as references and pictures of his new home and fenced yard.
