Up for sale is my 2000 RS with an 07WRX swap. The swap was done by me two in 2009 but had my wiring harness merged by iWire in California. 200k on the body of the car but 50k on the motor and swap. This cars been my daily driver for the past few years and it runs great. I've taken it on cross country trips and it runs with no problem. Tranny shift and runs strong. Here are the mods to the car: TD05h 18g 8cm Ebay big TMIC 850cc modded WRX injectors (cleaned and flow tested by deatschwerks injectors) Perrin inlet gm boost solenoid 04 STI steering rack and pinion KYB AGX struts Tanabe springs Helix 3" bellmouth dp (stock wrx catback on right now for the winter) Autometer gauges (boost, voltage, EGT) only boost is hooked up PLX m300 wideband The car was tuned by Bullwinkle on here via Opensource at about 300whp. The bads: The body is in no means in mint condition. Has all the dings and bumps and little scratches that come with a 200k body, but no rust. (Originally an Arkansas car. Last year was first winter it experienced and we didnt get a lot of snow.) Fog lights are dead, but are hooked up, just need new bulbs) I had a guy in AR paint my intake manifold painted when I did my swap and the guy that did it just did a horrible job so its all flaking off right now, but its in perfect working condition. The car runs great and strong. I'm just trying to get out of this scene and try something else in my life. I have a Clifford alarm system in the car with autostart hooked up, so thats a plus in the winter, just have to make sure you do not leave the car in gear. I'm not sure what to ask as far as price goes but I see a lot of swaps with a clean body go for anywhere between $10g-$15g. So I'll start at $9000. Its just the stock RS transmission. I drive like a granny so its held up fine. Ill go take some engine shots now and post it up soon...
I've done plenty of launches on that tranny...as long as youre not doing it on a regular basis, its fine....
Since you said just want to try something else, any slight chance you'll be interested in a Lexus Performance Sedan? I still owe a bit on mine but we can work the differences if interested.
Its a GS400. I could have got the GS300 and do the swap after I paid off but i wanted 300HP+ out of the box. Still getting 24mpg hwy, lol.
