    Car for sale

2000 Subaru 2.5RS 2-door coupe, silver, 174k, $6500 for everything (see price options at bottom)

2-owner car that I’ve owned since November 2001 and 31k. This has been my year-round, daily driver since then and also autocrossed from 2004 through 2009 in the appropriate Street Touring class.

Daily drive it, autocross it, rallycross it, or use as a great base for a WRX or STi swap.

    Autocross results highlights:
    2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 Minnesota Autosports Club class champion
2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 Metropolitan Council of Sports Car Clubs class champion
2008, 2009 SCCA Milwaukee Region, 2nd in class
2008 Third place SCCA Milwaukee National Tour, Fifth place SCCA Kansas City National Tour

    Modifications:
STi V5 struts with Prodrive P1 spring rates (Eibach), approx. 60k since new
    Whiteline 20-22-24 rear sway bar
    Whiteline 25 front sway bar
Front camber/caster plates, rear Subaru Group N top mounts
Whiteline front camber bushings (ST class legal, unlike the Whiteline CAI)
White line rear adjustable suspension links
Subaru Group N engine, transmission, and pitch mounts, Whiteline steering bushings
    Kartboy short shifter
Techworks Eng. (TWE) equal-length stainless steel header (also have stock exhaust manifold)
Tanabe Hyper Medallion catback exhaust (also have stock catback)
42 Autosports cold air intake (also have stock intake)
iSpeed SRS-20 re-flashed ECU (also have stock ECU)
    Lightweight crank pulley
    Braided steel brake lines
    Schroth Rallye 4 harness
    Clear adhesive driving light protectors

    Maintenance and Repair:
    ~170k, new windshield
~145k, transmission rebuilt by Mike Wray with cryo-treated internals (Diversifed Cryogenics)
~135k, new clutch (stock as required for ST class autocross)
~125k, new timing belt, tensioner, pulleys and cylinder head gaskets by Mike Wray
~100k, new front wheel bearings by TheAlignmentGuy
~80k, new rear wheel bearings by Morries (uprated 2002+ parts)
    Alignment as needed by TheAlignmentGuy
    Mobil 1 5w-30 year round
    Subaru transmission and differential fluids

    Wheels and Tires:
Stock 2.5RS wheels, 16”x 7”, in VG condition with Bridgestone RE-01 autocross tires (minimal tread)
Stock WRX wheels, 16”x 6.5”, ugly, with Michelin Pilot Alpine winter tires (lots of tread)

    Exterior:
4 small rust spots, the typical rear fender spots (fixed twice, they keep coming back), one on the right A-pillar, one by leading edge of sunroof.
1 small dent (~1”) on right front fender near lower edge of wheel-well lip.
Front has numerous small stone chips.
Black window trim has some white spots.

    Interior:
2 small tears in driver’s seat. Otherwise, excellent.
    Stock radio/CD/cassette.
    AC blows cold.
Power locks, remote locking, and factory alarm have been disabled, due to alarm going off in cold weather.

    Price:
$6500 for everything. All performance mods and all stock parts. Both sets of wheels and tires. And all of my autocross setup notes.
Planning for a swap and don’t want the 2.5 RS performance adders (header, catback, CAI, ECU)? $6000.
Only want one set of wheels and tires? $6000 with either set.
Don’t want the performance parts and only want one set of wheels/tires? $5500.

Bump. Still driving this pretty much every day. Great to be driving a small, low, light car that feels so buttoned-down. The Michelin Pilot Alpines don't hurt, either.
