2000ish Outback towing

    i am looking at picking up a subi for a winter car and i would like to tow my miata to a few events with a tow dolly (the two wheel kind) is this something that the car can handel?

    more info please... Year, motor, wagon or sedan and suspention upgrades... Would be helpful... Do you have a class II or class III reciever and what is the gross and tounge weight of the trailer fully loaded?

    Well without knowing what specific model, I can tell you that most 2000-ish Outbacks have a tow rating of 2000 pounds and a tongue weight of only a couple hundred. Even the lightest Miatas are over 2000 lbs.
    How much does the dolly weigh?

    Even with trailer brakes, and an added tranny cooler, I wouldn't do it. Get a truck.
