The time has come to let my forester go, mnsubaru price is $3300 with the wheels. It is not the cleanest forester out there but has lots of work done and is still a good car. Rear disk brake swap (its an L model) with drilled and slotted rotor and ceramic pads all around. New rear wheel bearing and struts with the brakes. Comes with new front struts not installed. Comes with minty rust free hatch that needs paint (is gold). Right now the exhaust is hodge-podged together and is loud and resonates annoyingly, I will hopefully fix this week. CEL from rusty gas cap and rear O2 disconnected. When I got the car (156xxx) I did full top end, head gaskets (sti MLS gaskets) cam seals all gaskets and injector o rings ect. Slaps a bit on cold start but has done that since I have had it. Typical forester with a manual, great for winter and camping/road trips. Fun car that I will miss. Text 763-913-6658
I think this drove past my house the other day. What's next on the list? Sticking with a Subie or moving on? GLWS!
I live in south Minneapolis and work in Farmington but also visit the north metro a lot. I already have three ford rangers, one is a solid front axle off road build that I have been working for a long time, the second is a 84 that I am building a turbo motor for and the third will be a daily. I will probably get a second gen forester after I get married in august. Just cant beat them for comfort in the winter.
How much for the Hula girl!? Lol Kidding! Looks like a good deal, GLWS! Btw, my dad loves his Rangers too! He is currently working on his 37 Chevy project, which involves putting said body on a late 80's-early 90's Ranger chassis and 4 banger.
